ECC Approved Rs7.15b for Federal Education Training.

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has greenlit a Technical Supplementary Grant of 7.15 billion rupees for Federal Education and Professional Training.

The approval came during a meeting chaired by Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, in Islamabad.

Furthermore, the ECC sanctioned a Technical Supplementary Grant of four billion rupees for the 7th Population and Housing Census.

Another approval was granted for the Technical Supplementary Grant earmarked for the rehabilitation of flood-damaged rural roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the provision of clean drinking water in Lahore under the Japanese Grant.

In a significant move, the Committee endorsed a summary outlining a comprehensive Sustainable Plan for the Price Rationalization of Subsidized Wheat in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Additionally, it gave the nod to additional funds totaling 1591.624 million rupees for the procurement of servers and hiring consultants.

Acknowledging the needs of the Ministry of Aviation, the Economic Coordination Committee approved the allocation of a Technical Supplementary Grant amounting to 500 million rupees.

This strategic allocation of funds demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing key areas such as education, census, infrastructure rehabilitation, and sustainable development plans.
