The Iranian Consul General Hassan Norian said the trade volume between the two countries has now risen to $2 billion.
However, he asserted that there is a target to raise it to $3 billion shortly, showing Iran’s eagerness to boost economic cooperation. Both sides agreed on sending more trade delegations back and forth for the ties to become even stronger.

This might mean a ferry service between Karachi and Chabahar, Iran. According to Chief Minister Shah, ferry service would help ease travel for citizens of both countries.
“It is easier for pilgrims traveling to Iran and students going for higher studies,” he said. “It’s about simplifying the journey and ensuring connectivity.”.
Adds to that, Consul General Norian has also invited the Sindh Chief Minister to attend a cultural festival in Iran this November. This shows how the crucial importance lies in this being a cultural exchange, along with cooperation in the economics. It is not just business, but keeping the cultural connection alive too.
