Kazim Saeed Appointed as Chairman of Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi Board.
Kazim Saeed has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), a distinguished civil society organization dedicated to addressing Pakistan’s education challenges through comprehensive approaches such as policy research, service delivery, and advocacy.
Notably, ITA’s flagship initiatives include the ASER survey, a citizen-led effort focusing on educational attainment, and programs like education in emergencies and the Siyani Sahelian 2nd Chance Learning Program for Adolescent Girls.

Under ITA’s umbrella, the Pakistan Learning Festival (PLF) has made a significant impact, with 91 editions held across the country.
The most recent PLF in Islamabad in November 2023 saw the participation of 100,000 students. Kazim Saeed’s appointment as Chairman aligns with his extensive background in policy and strategy, with a focus on economic development spanning 25 years.
He has provided energy policy advice to governments in collaboration with the World Bank and has played a pivotal role in building new business models for agricultural growth in Pakistan.
In addition to his role at ITA, Kazim Saeed serves on the boards of pioneering companies such as Naymat Collateral, Khushhaal Kissan, and Indus Acres.
His dedication to evidence-based policymaking and public service is evident in his co-founding of the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition, a non-profit organization.
Kazim holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and the History and Philosophy of Science from Cornell University (USA) and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University (USA).
