His unparalleled dominance on the squash court earned him numerous accolades, including:
- World Open Champion: 8 times (1987, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000)

Despite his remarkable sporting achievements, Khan’s career was marred by persistent back, knee, and groin injuries. These physical challenges eventually led to his retirement from squash in 2001.
In a recent medical diagnosis, Khan was found to be suffering from Parkinson’s disease, a rare and incurable condition in Pakistan. This diagnosis brought forth additional health complications and financial burdens for Khan and his family.
The government’s decision to provide monthly aid will not only alleviate some of the financial strain associated with Khan’s treatment but also serve as a symbol of the nation’s gratitude for his contributions to Pakistani squash.
Khan’s legacy as a squash legend extends beyond his impressive winning streak and numerous titles. He has inspired generations of aspiring athletes, showcasing the power of determination, perseverance, and unwavering passion for sports.
