Recent Scam Alert A fraudulent website pretending to be Islamabad Traffic Police has been exposed for scamming individuals by collecting personal information under the guise of issuing driving licenses.

This scam came to light when a concerned user posted about it on social media.
Details of the Fraudulent Website On August 7, 2024, a social media user shared a screenshot of the website, found at https://dlims-itp.com/, which falsely claimed to be associated with the Islamabad Traffic Police.
The site requested users to input their ID card numbers for supposed driving license verification.
Islamabad Police’s Immediate Response Islamabad Police officials, including Public Relations Officer Taqi Jwad, have confirmed that the website is a scam. He assured the public that the Cyber Crime Wing is taking swift action to shut down the fake site.
Sub-Inspector Abdul Rashid from the IT Department further confirmed that the IP address of the site has been traced and a formal complaint has been lodged with the Cyber Crime Department.
