Internship Program for Overseas Pakistanis

Adviser to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Health, Ahtisham Ali here Thursday night said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was providing internship to overseas Pakistani medical students.

Talking to the media in KP Assembly, an aide to the CM stated that the government is also providing internship to the medical students who had received their degrees from overseas medical colleges and universities on limited seats merit in all teaching medical institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. To this question, he added that the major obstacles were a lack of funds and limited seats.

MPA Abdul Salam earlier, under a point of order, had brought to the notice of the House that wrong was being done by depriving medical students studying abroad from getting paid house jobs at medical teaching Institutions in KP. He demanded pay for all the house job doctors.
