Huge Salary Increase for Govt Officers Announced. The government has implemented substantial changes to the pay structures for government officers, particularly within the specialized pay scales of MP1, MP2, and MP3.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has granted his approval for these modifications, signifying a significant increase in the compensation for management positions.

As part of these adjustments, the maximum salary in the MP1 pay scale has been elevated from Rs532,000 to Rs772,000, and the minimum salary has seen an increase from Rs433,000 to Rs629,000.
In the MP2 scale, the minimum salary has risen from Rs181,000 to Rs263,000, while the maximum salary has been adjusted from Rs290,000 to Rs421,000. Likewise, in the MP3 scale, the minimum salary has been adjusted from Rs127,000 to Rs227,000, and the maximum salary now stands at Rs263,000, up from Rs184,000.

It’s essential to highlight that these changes complement other benefits such as housing allowances, utility facilities, and perks available to those within specialized pay scales. Moreover, the privileges associated with the vehicle monetization facility will remain unaffected.
The revised Management Position Salary Package is slated to come into effect on October 1, 2023, in accordance with the official notification.
