Federal board postpones inter part 2 annual exam

Federal board postpones ‘inter part 2 annual exam’ scheduled for Oct 16.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has delayed the Higher Secondary School Certificate 2nd Annual Examination that was scheduled to begin on October 16, 2024.

The FBISE notification mentioned that the Intermediate Part 2 exam, which was earlier going to be commenced from October 16, would now be held on November 16, 2024, as there would be a holiday in Islamabad on account of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

However, all other papers shall be held as per schedule already notified, the notification said.

Earlier, the federal government announced three holidays in the Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi District from October 14 to 16, 2024, for smooth conduction of the SCO Heads of State Council Meeting in the federal capital.

It is, therefore, notified for information and necessary action of all concerned that papers of HSSC 2nd Annual Examination, 2024 scheduled for 16th October 2024 have been rescheduled to 16th November 2024, due to declaration of closed holidays in Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi District from 14th to 16th October 2024.

“All other papers will be held as per schedule already notified. All students/Institutions are directed to download the Revised Date Sheet and Roll Number Slips from the FBISE website i.e. www.fbise.edu.pk,” the notification read.

Meanwhile, the Cambridge International Exam will go according to a plan and the students are advised to leave an hour early in order to avoid any inconveniences.
