Sazgar Engineering Powers Sales: Over 200% YoY Growth in Off-Road and Passenger Vehicles
Sazgar Engineering is one of the largest players in the Pakistani automobile and auto rickshaw manufacturing sector, and it finally sees signs of a sales boost.

It`s four-wheel off-road and passenger vehicle segment can be seen to have grown at a tremendous YoY growth of over 200%, which depicts good market demand for the product.
Four Wheeler Segment Sales on Fire:
- Excellent YoY growth: Sazgar Engineering has sold a total of 953 units of off-road and passenger vehicles in August 2024, according to filings done at PSX on 5th September 2024. This also translates into a phenomenal increase of 219.8% against the sales of 298 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.
- Production Full Steam Ahead: Equally, the production line is keeping up with the surge in sales volume. The company manufactured 941 units in August 2024, representing a YoY surge of 204.53% from 309 units manufactured in August 2023.
This is not all; the positive trend is not limited to YoY figures.
Sazgar Engineering posted a 16% MoM growth in sales from July 2024 as 953 units were sold in August against 825 units last month.
The production also showed a healthy 6.21% rise on MoM basis from 886 units in July to 941 in August.
Three Wheeler Segment Continues to Shine
Sazgar Engineering is not only doing well in the four-wheeler market, but it also maintains a very formidable standing in the three-wheeler auto-rickshaw segment as well:
- YoY Growth in Auto-Rickshaw Sales: YoY Sales of auto-rickshaws increased drastically by 50.87% for August 2024, having sold a total of 1,643 units against the total sales of 1,089 units during August 2023.
- Production Increase: As such, the production of auto-rickshaws continued to a number of 2,023 units manufactured in August 2024 alone. This is a 51.99% YoY growth compared to the 1,331 units in the same period last year.
- MoM Sales and Production: Since the MoM growth for auto-rickshaws was not as significant compared with four-wheelers, it at least managed a very slight increase in sales by 1.17% and production by 12.7% compared to the numbers captured in July 2024.
