This price change is one in a larger line of developments that hit every big automobile brand operating within the country due to production costs shooting up through the roof and currency fluctuations.

Honda CD 70 Price in Pakistan:

The Honda CD 70 was a highly popular model because of the less complex design and very good mileage, which reached 50-60 kilometers per liter, making it a preferable choice for the daily commuter.

The updates in the 2025 model were minimal, though some new sticker designs did appear, and, of course, the iconic colors-red, black, and blue.

These features only enhanced the reputation of the CD 70 as an affordable and reliable option for regular use.

Suzuki Bike Price Hike in October 2024

Even the prices of Suzuki bikes went up, by a minimum of PKR 7,000, in almost all models. They have also justified it as due to increased operation cost.

Suzuki and Honda said that new government taxes, if introduced, will be included in the final selling price and hence can further increase costs.

Causes of Motorcycles’ Rising Prices in Pakistan: Bike Prices Increased in Pakistan: November 2024

The most recent price hike in Pakistan’s motorcycle market can be attributed to the following factors:

The rising inflation and devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee have severely affected the production costs, which have led the brands to increase prices.
The fluctuations in the international prices of raw materials and supply chain disruptions are further straining the pockets of local manufacturers.
Government Taxes: Surge in government taxes and duty levied during the last couple of months have augmented the overall pricing, as manufacturers have transferred these prices to the consumer.

Effect on Pakistani Consumer

Motorbikes are now becoming relatively unaffordable for an average consumer in Pakistan. This is because two-wheeler transport is often an economical solution for commoners.

The price of Honda CD 70 as well as Suzuki models is rising, and this increased price is burdening household income that depends on these two brands for daily commutation.
