Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif-led government has launched its ambitious scheme to equip the students with state-of-the-art technology and scholarships.

As a part of this vision, Chief Minister has directed that laptops being distributed among deserving students, under the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme will be done within the next 90 days.
Key Highlights of the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme and Scholarships:
- 2,000 minority students will receive laptops.
- Scholarships for 30,000 government and 10,000 private school students.
- Laptops for Top-performing Students to be Equipped with Latest Core i7, 13th-Generation Hardware.
- 18,000 Female Students to Receive Chief Minister’s Honhar Scholarship Program.
- Total annual budget of Rs 125 billion for the education cost of 25,000 students.
Under this scheme, top-performing students in Matriculation and Intermediate exams will receive Core i7, 13th-generation laptops.
Laptops Distribution among Best Students and Minorities
The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme will serve as a prize for best-performing students from Punjab.
The highest position-holders from the Matriculation (10th class) and Intermediate (F.Sc) exams will be issued laptops along with a Guard of Honour.
The scheme will also cater to 2,000 minority students awarded these laptops, who would now be able to continue their studies with state-of-the-art technology.
Thousands of Scholarships
Apart from these, laptops, the Punjab government will also offer scholarships to students from government schools and private institutions of the province. The number of state school students covered under this program shall be 30,000, while that of private school students shall be 10,000.
The Chief Minister’s Honhar Scholarship Program will also provide financial scholarship assistance to 18,000 female students, helping to enhance and promote gender equality in education.

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has confirmed a promise of improving educational access and opportunities in Punjab. Punjab’s provincial government will annually spend more than Rs 125 billion to educate 25,000 students.
The government has made this heavy investment to uplift the education sector as well as to ensure that deserving students get the resources needed by them in order to succeed in their studies.

The Punjab government also intends to award prizes to position holders from all educational boards in Punjab. Teachers of these outstanding students will also recognized for their efforts in fostering academic excellence.
