Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is going to inaugurate Sindh Solar Home System Program, an initiative which the Sindh Government has undertaken for providing clean energy to 200000 families across the province.

This will be one of the major initiatives towards renewable energy in order to change the lives of the underprivileged.
Overview of Sindh Solar Home System Program
- Beneficiaries Targeted: Solar home systems will be provided to 200000 families in Sindh.
- First Phase: Solar systems will be provided to 50000 families in the first phase.
- Selection Criteria: Selections would be on the basis of the poverty scorecard of the Benazir Income Support Program in order to ensure the benefit to the most deserving households.
