What is the PIP?

The PIP is specially designed to encourage the next generation of political leaders and enthusiasts in public policy.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The PIP, therefore, invites applications from talented young Pakistanis who are academically bright and demonstrate an aptitude for serving public interest.

  • Educational Eligibility: A candidate needs to have at least completed 14 years of education based on higher education from HEC-recognized institutions. Students currently enrolled in a 4-year under-graduate program and having completed at least 2 years or 4 semesters, or enrolled in a Master’s degree currently in relevant disciplines.
  • Academic Performance: The candidate must demonstrate excellent academic standing in the previous degree with at least 60% marks (percentage system) or a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 (GPA system).
  • Age Limit: The candidate shall not have attained more than 30 years of age.
  • Regional Encouragement: Candidates belonging to underrepresented areas namely Balochistan, Sindh, Southern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, erstwhile FATA, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan are particularly encouraged to apply.

  • Batch 1: Apply: January 1 – February 15 | Intern: March 1 – April 15
  • Batch 2: Apply: April 1 – May 15 | Intern: June 1 – July 15
  • Batch 3: Apply: July 16 – August 31 | Intern: September 1 – October 30
  • Batch 4: Apply: September 1 – October 30 | Intern: November 15 – December 31
