Students in Punjab, Pakistan, are revving up for the revolutionary Punjab Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative!

The scheme, managed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), has witnessed a phenomenal response, surpassing 100,000 student registrations on the dedicated e-Bikes Portal.

  • Over 100,000 students registered on the e-Bikes Portal, highlighting the program’s popularity.
  • More than 16,000 applications were submitted, with:
    • Over 13,500 students expressing interest in petrol bikes.
    • Over 3,800 students opting for eco-friendly electric bikes.

Boosting Student Mobility:

The initiative aims to address student transportation challenges by providing:

  • Interest-free Financing: The Punjab government covers the markup on the down payment and monthly installments, making bike ownership more accessible.
  • Convenient Installment Plan: Students can manage bike ownership costs through manageable monthly installments.

Eligibility & Application Details:

To be eligible for the program, students must:

  • Be enrolled as regular students in government or private graduate colleges/universities in Punjab.
  • Be 18 years or above.
  • Possess a valid driving license or learner’s permit.

Application Deadline:
